Oak Run is a Class AS, 8-bed, co-ed state-licensed Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF). It offers an abundance of space and privacy for its residents. We are proud to offer private bedrooms on the first and second floor levels with various common and entertainment rooms. Residents rarely occupy a double bedroom unless their specific needs require it.
Oak Run provides 24-hour awake supervision and monitoring, resident-specific programming, and a plethora of services. It is nestled amongst a wooded, serene country setting that incorporates a soothing and relaxing environment for our residents. We take pride in our intensive staff training program.
Each resident receives an initial resident-specific assessment, with a referral and a 30-day temporary individual service plan (ISP) upon admission. After admission, staff conduct a 30-day assessment and implement a detailed ISP incorporating the resident's needs. Residents are also provided with an Independent Living Skills Program, which emphasizes resident activities of daily living to train, enhance, and support the resident's abilities with household chores, personal laundry, room maintenance, meal planning and preparation, social skills, fiscal management; community integration; mental health management; recovery; and constructive activities.
Each resident is matched explicitly with a monetary and/or alternative reward program to meet their daily goals. Depending on the resident's needs and abilities, Oak Run also provides assistance, referral, and support with requests for vocational, educational, and spiritual desires, keeping in mind the resident's treatment conditions as determined via joint communication and efforts with the resident's treatment providers.
Oak Run provides residents with a weekly activity schedule identifying various offered constructive activities, therapeutic groups, and recreational outings that incorporate community integration. Staff documents each resident's daily progress to better identify symptoms and areas of concern in order to obtain services, treat, and implement a record of prompt and adequate treatment.
